Booyah.

Woo! It snowed early this morning and it is supposed to snow a whole lot more throughout the day today and tomorrow. I'm pumped. I think I might be the only one pumped about the snow though, everyone else seems to hate the weather predictions 'cept for me.

I worked my first shift at the Dubuque Hot Topic last night. It went well, seems pretty laid back. The people I work with are really cool. Hopefully I can pick up some more hours soon!

We've been tearing our basement apart with plans to remodel. It's still in the tear down stage, but soon we'll be actually constructing walls and such. Pretty exciting stuff.

My room is looking pretty rad. It's not finished yet, but most of my posters are hung up with a kind of wallpapering look. I framed and hung my Springsteen poster I got at the concert my mom and I went to in my room as well. It looks sweet. I put it right above my record player.

I really really want to get tattooed some time soon. I can't decide between getting more work on my left arm or starting my chestpiece. Hmm... Maybe I'll do both! I have plenty of free time but I want to make a trip out of it, with Matt and such. Talking about tattoos makes me miss Eric and Sara. If you are reading this, I miss you guys! Come to Dubuque and go bowling!

Aight, my laundry is done and I'm starting to smell pretty bad. Imma go take a shower.

Peace out Blog readers.

I got's me a blog, now what?

I really don't know what to do with this, but all the cool kids are doing it. So here goes!

Hello all, and welcome to my blog. My name is Sam and I'm a 20 year old dude from Iowa. I live in rural Dubuque County in the same house I grew up in. I really like Dubuque and Iowa in general. Just today I spent a good chunk of time reading about Iowa on Wikipedia. Learned some neat stuff. Have you ever heard of the Honey War? Well apparently it was a bloodless territorial dispute in the 1830s between Iowa and Missouri over their border. Who knew?
It snowed today! Not very long, but it was definitely snow. Hopefully we'll have a lot of snow by Christmas! Speaking of Christmas, I still need to make a list of stuff I want. I'm thinkin' about asking for stuff I'll actually use this year. Such as: A nice metal water bottle, new glasses, a pair of jeans, or some new music. I don't really know yet. Nothing is officially on 'The List'. I also want to watch these movies before C-day: Christmas Vacation, Elf, and Home Alone (it's totally set around christmas time, so it counts). Oh well, that's all for now. Peace.
